Some past events that helped worthy families have a home of their own.
Dedication of 27th house
The partner family, habitat board members and volunteer workers at the house dedication. Volunteers and John Brown worked hard to do all the little and big things needed to put the house in condition for the family to move in. Although there still some outside work to do, the family moved in to a warm house on the evening of January 25, 2013. (Click for details.)

Holloween with Habitat

On Saturday, October 29, Orange County Habitat for Humanity had its Halloween with Habitat; a costume party at The Barn at the Inn at Willow Grove.  A great time was had by all who attended.  The night turned out to be beautiful, the music was great, the venue was spectacular, the food was excellent, and the company was exceptional!

2010 Big Band Dinner Dance
Habitat’s annual dinner dance fund raiser gathered 69 people for dinner and dancing at the Lake of the Woods John Henry awardedclubhouse on March 27, 2010.  In addition to the usual food and great music from the Big Band of Fredericksburg, the group was treated to a surprise presentation to longtime organizer and promoter of Habitat, John Henry.
State Senator Edd Houck from the 17th District read the resolution passed by the Virginia State Senate acclaiming the long history, dedication, and fund-raising accomplishments of Mr. Henry.
John was pretty stunned, but was not made speechless!  He took the opportunity to describe the happiness generated for Habitat homeowners and to ask the crowd to continue to work for Habitat and its goal of creating affordable housing for low income families.

Habitat for Humanity would like to thank everyone that helped to make this event a success.
